Hong Kong is a modern super-metropolis and a city of contrasts. Futuristic meets traditional, consumerism meets improvised reality, urban density meets untouched islands and tropic forests. To decipher the overwhelming amount of visual information, the artist’s analogue photographs focus on small details of everyday life as well as moments of quiet in this very dense urban environment.

Hongkong ist eine moderne Supermetropole und eine Stadt der Gegensätze. Futuristisch trifft auf traditionell, Konsumgesellschaft trifft auf improvisierte Realität, architektonische Dichte trifft auf unberührte Inseln und tropische Wälder. Um die überwältigende Menge an visueller Information zu entschlüsseln, fokussieren sich die analogen Fotografien der Künstlerin sowohl auf kleine Details des Alltags, als auch auf Momente der Ruhe in diesem sehr dichten, urbanen Umfeld.
